JOB TITLE: Specialist Channel Sales Korea
LOCATION: SEL
LEVEL: L 3 (Â÷/ºÎÀå±Þ)
REPORTING TO: Manager Sales Korea
MAIN OBJECTIVES:
Responsible for strategically developing and maintaining a portfolio of agency accounts within the designated market with the overall objective of maximizing revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)
• To be responsible for negotiating sales and marketing agreements (SMAs) to maximize ROI for the JB and for American in the rest of the world.
• To leverage relationship to drive incremental SME revenue through the TMC channel and premium business through the leisure and specialist channels.
• To develop strong working relationship with JB counterparts and revenue management teams.
• To conduct quarterly reviews to ensure targets are met and implement strategies to correct performance shortfalls.
• To deliver high impact presentation to all levels, including senior management, within the agency.
• To Call on prospect and assigned agency/ wholesaler accounts periodically to build business relationships and increase AA awareness
• To solves current sales/support obstacles in order to convert revenue share from competitors.
• To make recommendations concerning local advertising, display, direct mail, sponsorship, FAM trips and other promotional initiatives to support the sales effort.
• To manage any customer tender process when required, negotiating where relevant and implementing contractual requirements as per market conditions and customer specifications.
• To participate in business functions and meetings of the travel industry on behalf of AA, and represents country manager Korea when designated.
Essential:
• Be goal oriented-focused on achieving revenue and share targets
• Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to develop account strategy
• Strong knowledge of and ability to implement value-based selling
• Strong organization / planning, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand and implement the AA-JB process
• Self motivated, and possess a positive attitude
• Able to build firm and good business relationships with corporate and corporate agency accounts.
• Ability to influence and persuade account performance in a professional manner
• Ability to multi-task under pressure
• At least 5 years of successful experience in similar roles within the airline industry or travel trade
• The legal right to work and live in Korea prior to applying to this position
Desirable:
• Excellent knowledge/understanding of travel trade market place
• Possess in depth knowledge of the JB product, service and brand
• A degree in business or economics or relevant proven experience
• Be in possession of own transport and must be willing to participate in extensive out of hour¡¯s activity and frequent overseas travel
